Graduate Application Support Advisor - Financial Services Technology Business

A dynamic and innovative financial services organisation located in Solihull, are looking for an ambitious Graduate with a keen interest in the world of technology. They have built an award winning Financial Services platform over the last 20 years, which requires a cross-functional team to work together and ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the platform is high.
As a Graduate, you will progress quickly into a team of your choice, once you have spent 6-12 months working in the application support team. This role requires somebody who is outgoing, can speak comfortably on the phone with good manners, and is able to pick up new technology quickly.
Once you progress from the Application Support team, you will be given the option of working within Data, Software Development, IT Infrastructure, Graphic Design, or marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Financial Services applications, addressing client queries and issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the technology team to identify and resolve software and hardware-related problems.
- Develop a deep understanding of applications and their functionalities to provide accurate and comprehensive support to customers.
- Communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner, both over the phone and via written communication channels.
- Continuously expand your knowledge and skillset, keeping up with the latest industry trends and technologies.
What we need from you:
- A 2:1 degree or higher in any field.
- An outgoing personality, with the ability to make conversation and build relationships with people.
- Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A valid driving license and access to a car are essential for this hybrid position.
