REED is assisting a secondary school in Stevenage in their search for a dedicated MFL Teacher, specialising in French or Spanish. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate language educator to join a supportive team and contribute to a dynamic learning environment.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in French or Spanish, in line with the national curriculum.
  • Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports students of varying backgrounds and abilities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement language programs.
  • Participating in school events and contributing to the school's language department's initiatives.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in a relevant language or related discipline.
  • Experience in teaching MFL, with a solid understanding of the national curriculum for languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • A collaborative spirit, ready to contribute positively to the wider school community.
