REED is assisting a secondary school in Stevenage in their search for a dedicated MFL Teacher, specialising in French or Spanish. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate language educator to join a supportive team and contribute to a dynamic learning environment.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in French or Spanish, in line with the national curriculum.
- Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to monitor student progress.
- Creating an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports students of varying backgrounds and abilities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement language programs.
- Participating in school events and contributing to the school's language department's initiatives.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in a relevant language or related discipline.
- Experience in teaching MFL, with a solid understanding of the national curriculum for languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
