Dunbar Education is excited to collaborate with a dynamic primary school in Shefford, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher. Our partner school is renowned for its supportive environment, innovative teaching practices, and commitment to instilling a love of learning in its pupils.

Role Overview:

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be crucial in preparing our pupils for the transition to secondary education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and supporting each child in reaching their full potential. Your passion for education and ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience Teaching Year 6 is preferred.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 6 pupils.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and support pupil progress.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupil participation and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance the educational experience of each pupil.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in primary education, with a strong track record in Year 6.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
