Microsoft Azure Engineer

- Type: Hybrid (1 day per week in office, 4 days per week at home)
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading IT provider based in Epsom.
Role Purpose
- To provide 2nd line support managing cloud infrastructure in Azure
Main Duties
- Take responsibility for handling requests from CSP clients or resellers regarding their Azure environment
- Contribute to developing a comprehensive internal knowledge base for team members to access tips and solutions.
- Deliver timely and accurate updates to customers or CSP resellers, keeping them informed throughout the ticket's progress.
- Effectively manage and prioritize open and unresolved Azure tickets, coordinating with all third parties involved.
- Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and find solutions to resolve problems.
- Adhere to standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in a Technical Support team specializing in Microsoft Cloud services.
- Strong familiarity with and comprehension of the Azure Management Portal.
- Practical experience in troubleshooting Azure services.
- Understanding of Conditional Access and MFA deployments.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS:900)
