We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join the Environmental Services team. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for supervising a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives, ensuring the effective delivery of grounds maintenance services.

- Supervise and manage a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Plan and allocate work to the team to ensure the timely completion of grounds maintenance tasks.
- Carry out regular inspections of grounds and gardens to identify maintenance requirements and ensure high standards are maintained.
- Maintain records and reports on the team's activities, including progress reports, incident reports, and health and safety records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service, liaising with residents and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of grounds maintenance procedures and practices.
We are looking for someone who has...
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role in grounds maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of grounds maintenance practices, including experience with grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, and general landscape maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Full UK Manual Driving License.
