Are you a Design Engineer or similar with previous experience using an AutoCAD 3D package looking for a dynamic and exciting role working on a variety of visually stunning and environmentally friendly design projects inside a well-established company who pride themselves on their tailored progression and further training opportunities?
This company specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of architectural solar shading and façade solutions, including brise soleil and louvres, aimed at improving energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal of buildings. They offer bespoke solutions, design consultation, and professional installation services to ensure customized, high-quality, and sustainable outcomes for architectural projects.
In this dynamic role, you will use AutoCAD packages to create design and fabrication drawings from provided information. You will coordinate with clients and subcontractors, issue drawings for review, and ensure projects stay within budget and scope. You will also create cutting schedules, work with site teams, attend design meetings, and produce maintenance manuals. Based in York, you will work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

The Role:
- Use AutoCAD to create design and fabrication drawings from provided information

The Person:
- Design Engineer or similar
- Background in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor
- Full drivers licence
- Commutable to York
