Role

This is a brand new role opening within the Finance Team. The role responsibility ensures the accuracy and integrity of charity financial reporting. This role prepares statutory financial reports for the group, ensuring compliance with regulations and manages the internal financial controls for the Finance department. The role collaborates with the wider organisation to gather financial data which informs best practice to enhance financial controls.

Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum plus benefits

Skills Knowledge and Experience

  • ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified or Finalist
  • Significant experience in financial accounting, audit, or related roles, preferably within the charitable sector.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements for charities.
  • Experience in financial accounting, consolidation, and reporting, preferably in a group structure.
  • Experience in M&A accounting with complex reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insights.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
