Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: Westminster
Job type: Full-time, long-term temporary position
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start date: ASAP
End date: July 2025
Pay rate ranges from £85 to £114 per day
Tradewind are proud to be partnered up with a wonderful primary school based in the heart of Central London who are searching for a new addition to their Early Years team.
This one-form entry Westminster school is looking to appoint a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP for the entire academic year. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting EYFS children and a natural ability to work well with children.
This is a full-time, long-term position commencing ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support to the Class Teacher
- Plan activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Encourage learning through play
- Support a group of key children
- Support pupils in develop fine and gross motor skills
- Instil a love of learning in pupils
Requirements:
- Level 3 Childcare qualification is ideal but not essential
- Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum
- Must be available full-time and long-term ASAP
