The Recruitment Co are representing an award winning publishing company to find a Sales and Account Manager to join their hardworking and passionate team!

  • Job Type: Permanent; Full Time
  • Pay: Competitive + Commission Scheme (Quarterly)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM
  • Location: Barnstaple

Sales & Account Manager Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced salesperson to join their team, focusing on their Indy Coffee Guide series of guides/magazines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and have proven experience within a sales environment.
This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
A passion for speciality coffee or experience in the coffee industry would be a massive advantage!

Sales & Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales strategies to promote the Indy Coffee Guide to potential members and sponsors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships within the speciality coffee industry.
  • Understand the unique needs of each client and offer customised sponsorship solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities within the speciality coffee.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations and materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits while ensuring clients' satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and coffee festivals to network and promote the guide.
  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • Chasing and keeping contact with new and existing clients to ensure sales.

Sales & Account Manager Skills:

  • Proven experience in a sales or telesales environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events such as Coffee Festivals across the country.
