Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

12-month Interim Contract

A leading third-party logistics provider is seeking an experienced Interim Warehouse Manager to oversee their dynamic 90,000 sq ft multi-user warehouse facility based in Northampton. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations, maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

The candidate;

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in a multi-user environment.
  • Previous experience of implementing WMS and handheld scanners will be highly advantageous
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Lead and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service levels.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance overall performance
