Tax Senior required. My client is a well-known firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, based in the Stoke area. They are looking for a Tax Senior to join their friendly team, to manage a portfolio of personal tax clients ranging from sole traders, directors, owner managed businesses and property investors.

Position Overview
- Process self-assessment and personal tax returns to the required standard
- Prepare and complete P11D forms
- Communicate effectively with colleagues/clients/HMRC over the phone, through email and in writing if required
- Assist with adhoc tax queries/projects
- Support and mentor the more junior members of the team
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be CTA qualified/part-qualified.

- Suitable candidates will be CTA qualified/part-qualified
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice (essential)
- Previous experience in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships
- Previous tax advisory experience is essential - owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues
- Experience with IRIS personal tax and suite software preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail

Position Remuneration
- £40,000-£50,000 (DOE)
- 21 days annual leave + Christmas shutdown + bank holidays
- Profit share bonus (confirmed 5% for this financial year)
