Randstad CPE are looking for a Site Agent / Package Manager to work for a major tier 1 on HS2. The client is looking for a Package Manager with experience on Station Fit Out packages.
Responsible for overseeing the coordination and leadership of a number of sub-contractors employed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and check the quality of the borehole installations, coring and sampling.
  • Supervise the on-site works to ensure they are being carried out safely in in accordance with the method statement.
  • Manage the programme and turnaround times on GI reports.
  • Review the quality and content of the GI reports.
  • Liaise with the designer where the specification needs to be changed or problems arise.
  • Manage GI sub-contract ensuring that they are fulfilling their sub-contract duties and manage their performance.
  • Verify timesheets and payments to sub-contractor and control the budget with the package QS.
  • Investigate boreholes / site where the trigger levels in the Designers Monitoring Plan have been breached and or there are inconsistences in the data.
  • Chair the Ground Water Area East Monitoring weekly meeting.
  • Be the point of contact for the delivery and design team for al GI works.
  • Programme and complete Ground Investigations and approve reports.
  • Carry out on going checks on the water level readings and environmental sampling.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree qualified
  • Experience in station fit out
  • Ability to critically review and understand Ground Investigation reports
  • Experience and ability to manage a sub-contractor / package of works
  • Ability to be at the site office / on site daily.
