Project Planner
Cardiff (2 days onsite per week)
Up to £45,000 + benefits
CPS Group is working with a global technology leader to find a Project Planner to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a globally recognised company while paving the way for your career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage project schedules from scratch, covering scope, milestones, timelines, and resources using critical path methodology.
Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring they align with project realities.
Negotiate timelines and manage dependencies between key partners.
Provide a clear, high-level view of project planning.
Prepare status reports and dashboards, including resource allocation and KPIs.
Review and ensure external schedules adhere to best practices.
Support the PMO in risk management, governance, procurement, and general project administration.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Project
Ability to link schedules to project execution and identify risks and opportunities
Strong communication skills to work with senior stakeholders and maintain key relationships
