A village primary nicely located between Warwick and Stratford Upon Avon is looking for a Year 2 Teacher to work 3 days per week. This exciting role is to cover maternity leave until Christmas 2024. This C of E school is a very special place to be where they aim to provide children with an outstanding educational experience in a nurturing environment.
Your new role
Your new job as a Year 2 teacher at this school will be to work as a job share. The days per week are flexible and will not require you to do any planning. Your main role within this school will be to work collaboratively with the job share, teach the children to a high standard, ensure that the learning objectives are met, mark all the work and communicate with your job share, parents and teaching assistants.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job, you must be a passionate class teacher that has experience in Key Stage 1 or lower key stage 2. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a range of children. This class has a high level of pupil premium children, so an understanding of how your teaching can be adapted to all abilities would be beneficial.
