Production Planner Supply Chain

We are excited to partner with a thriving manufacturing company located near Hull. We seek a skilled individual to support the supply chain and production teams. This role involves creating and managing production schedules that meet both customer demands and factory capabilities, while maintaining ample raw material supplies.

About the role

As a Planner will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Managing raw material supply to support production needs.
  • Optimising inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
  • Analysing sales forecasts and collaborate with commercial teams to improve accuracy.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed production and scheduling plans
  • Collaborating with management to establish and monitor supply chain performance metrics and suggest ways to make improvements
  • Providing support to senior planning team as well as other ad-hoc duties

About you

The successful Planner will have the following attributes:

  • Strong Planning skills and the ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • The ability to problem solved and think proactively
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills and the confidence to challenge
  • Be a team player and go above and beyond
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MRP systems.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary will depend on experience. Must have driving licence due to location.
