Hours: 37 hours a week, 39 weeks per year

We are looking for a Family Support Worker to deliver information, advice and support to parents and carers of children and young people. You will play a crucial role in supporting children and families to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

You will:

  • Have experience of working with young people
  • Be robust, and resilient and take pride in helping students who can sometimes find school life challenging.
  • Be flexible, positive and have a 'can do' attitude

Offa's Mead Primary Academy is located in Gloucestershire but we have excellent local links as we are situated about a mile outside of Chepstow and well as within commutable distance of both Bristol and Wales. Approximately a third of our pupils are from service families, and we serve near Beachley Barracks.

The role is due to commence in September 2024. This is a fixed-term position until August 2025.
