We have an exciting opportunity within a prestigious Accountancy Practice for a Bookkeeper/ Administrator, to be based in their Whitehaven Office.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Posting purchase and sales invoices in the bookkeeping accounting software
- Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
- Posting and reconciling bank statements
- Allocating accounts manager in managing and sorting out client's data
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Preparation of customer accounts and self-assessment tax returns
- Reporting the results of the assigned work to accounts manager
- Sorting out supplier invoices
- Centralised client document scanning and saving to CRM
- Liaising with branches for their scanning requirements
- Dealing with files and sending for storage
- Preparing correspondence to clients
- Dealing with telephone and in-person enquiries
- Bookkeeping and various other accounting tasks
- Filing and scanning documentation
- Data entry
- Dealing with inward and outward post
- Undertake ad-hoc works as directed by the Management
Job specifics:
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent with a minimum 37.5 Hours Per week
- Working days: Monday to Friday
