Your new company and role
This role is with a major digital consultancy who are currently carrying out a critical project with a public sector client. The client is carrying out a wide-scale modernisation programme on their IT estate and requires an experienced .NET developer to come in and assist with their migration. This role will be hybrid based, with the end client looking for you to come on-site to their office an average of 1 day/week.
What you'll need to succeed
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET Framework and ASP.NET.
- Experience with SQL Server and understanding of database design principles.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for work tracking.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and background processes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of Dependency Injection and other design patterns.
- Experience in writing unit tests.
Project Related Skills:
- Experience in working with legacy code and restructuring it.
- Ability to design and implement microservices from monolithic structures.
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps on-premises.
