The company offer a range of sheet metal design and manufacturing services for roofing companies, Cladding solutions for premier commercial clients and offer a multi-faceted, versatile role where you will assist across different steps of the manufacturing process manufacturing products for leading clients within the Motorsport and Entertainment sectors with potential opportunity for promotion to Work Supervisor, where you will benefit from ongoing training and development and 1:1 mentorship.
You will be responsible for completing a range of steps within the production of Sheet Metal products from interpreting a customer's initial sketch to producing CAD drawings with Radan Software (Radan is most similar to Solidworks/AutoCAD) to operating a Trumpf TruPunch Punching machine . Radan Software and Trumpf TruPunch training provided.
The role:
- Manufacturing Roofing and Cladding products from Sheet Aluminium and Steel
- Interpreting Customer sketches
- Redrawing products within Radan Software
- Sending CAD drawings to a Trumpf TruPunch Sheet Metal Punch
- Overseeing the manufacture of Cladding and Roofing products
- Workshop based role from 7:30-4 Mon To Friday
- Permanent position
The person:
- Radan Software experience ( Solidworks or AutoCAD considered)
- Sheet Metal Experience
