LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR
We are seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join a friendly lettings team based in York to support the business growth.
WHATS'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Salary: £24,000 (Negotiable based on experience/qualification).
- Company bonus scheme for permanent team members.
- 30 days holiday entitlement inclusive of bank holidays.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with on-call weekend cover.( 1 in 5 weeks)
THE JOB
- Managing the letting process and dealing with enquiries on the phone and by
- email.
- Setting up viewings and showing potential clients around the property.
- Selecting responsible and reliable tenants.
- External appointments including property visits, maintenance visits.
- Landlord, tenant and property data input.
- Preparing tenancy agreements and associated check in paperwork.
- Processing the termination paperwork.
- Organising Gas Safety Checks and ensuring all LET properties are up to date.
- Arranging for maintenance to be carried out.
- Arranging for inventories to be carried out.
THE KEY SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR...
- Previous experience in lettings is required.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle property management tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
