Our client SMTGB are offering an experienced Workshop Engineer the opportunity to join their well-established and professional team of engineers. You'll be identifying mechanical and computerised systems problems and carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair on a Volvo heavy mobile plant.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Service and repair Volvo construction equipment
- Ensuring software updates are installed
- The accurate completion of paperwork
- Assisting and coaching colleagues with technical support where necessary
- Ordering and returning parts
Experience
- NVQ L3 in heavy plant/HGV/agricultural machinery maintenance and repair or equivalent
- Repair and maintenance practical experience on heavy construction plant
- Proven technical competence on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electronics
- Ideally welding, fabrication and line boring experience
