Payroll Manager - 6-9 month contract

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our client in Speke on a 6-9 month contract with hybrid working options. You'll be joining a well-established payroll admin team, but we need someone with strong legislation knowledge and HMRC reporting experience to ensure compliance and accurate management of all payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the payroll process for 500 employees monthly
  • Handle pension administration
  • Ensure accurate HMRC submissions
  • Perform high-level payroll tasks and provide support to the payroll team

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in managing payroll for a large workforce
  • Familiar with HMRC submissions and pension administration
  • Proficient in using payroll systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-level payroll functions
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel would be advantageous

Additional Information:

  • This role requires a mix of remote working and office meetings, particularly during the initial handover period.

Salary Range & Benefits
The salary for this role is £40,000-£50,000. The company also offers excellent benefits including remote working (office for meetings only).
