Overnight Care Assistant - Residential Home - Colchester
Our rapidly growing family ran Residential Home is currently seeking an overnight Care Assistant to join their team ASAP. The home is a family-run setting and is very unique compared to standard care homes due to its stunning setting in Colchester.
The pay rate will be £12.22 per hour.
What does the role entail?
Your role as an overnight Care Assistant will involve preparing residents for bed and/or assist them in the morning. Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, bath and use the toilet. Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
Night shifts are 20:00 till 08:00, across 3 nights per week with 2 weekend per month, 36 hours contracted.
Access to a vehicle is essential for this position with the right to work in the UK.
What skills will you have?
As an overnight Care Assistant, you will be expected to provide care and companionship to the elderly clients.
