Exciting Opportunity for BAND 7 SONOGRAPHER
MedicsPro is looking for an experienced sonographer with recent NHS experience, interested in flexible shifts or full-time locum/agency work with a variety of private and NHS clients. This role offers coverage Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm, with a range of shift options available.
_Job Requirements: _
- Strong communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Current registration with the (HCPC)
- Current references- covering the previous 3 years.
- Relevant qualifications required
Preferable Experience: Minimum 1-year recent UK experience working within an NHS SITE
Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring clear images for diagnostics purposes and adjusting equipment when necessary.
- Monitoring and caring for patients to ensure safety and comfort.
- Selecting appropriate settings and adjusting patients' positions during procedures.
- Capturing ultrasound images of organs, tissues, or blood flow patterns.
- Actively listen to patients to understand their symptoms and concerns.
- Interpret ultrasound results and provide comprehensive reports to the referring consultant.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and regularly assess the effectiveness of care plans.
