Finance Analyst

Career Moves are proud to be working with a leading Healthcare business based in central London, who are currently going through positive change and expansion.

They are currently looking for dynamic and enthusiastic finance professional to join their busy team as a Finance Analyst, on a 9-month fixed term contract basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering clear, coherent financial data accompanied by insightful analysis and commentary across various financial facets such as pricing, costing, profitability, and activity analysis.
  • Conducting post-investment and decision-making reviews, contributing to business case development and analysis, financial modeling, dashboard creation, and payer contract analysis.
  • Facilitating the formulation of business cases and the introduction of new services throughout the Clinic.
  • Supporting the monthly close down process and performance reporting.
  • Analyzing actual monthly performance against prior year, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Crafting comprehensive variance and bridge analyses, pinpointing key trends with accompanying commentary when necessary.
  • Identifying and presenting risks and opportunities to the current forecast on a monthly basis, proposing mitigations for key issues.
  • Compiling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term business plans in adherence to established timelines.
  • Providing backup for other Analysts/Business Partners within The London Clinic finance team as needed, collaborating seamlessly across Finance to address broader team objectives and needs.
  • Assisting the Commercial Finance team in engaging with and aiding Senior Managers across The London Clinic, conducting diverse financial analyses to fulfill their requirements.
  • Cultivating robust, trustworthy, and professional relationships throughout The Clinic.
  • Identifying avenues for process enhancement, reporting refinement, and performance improvement as part of an ethos of continuous improvement, ensuring the dissemination of best practices across the entire Finance function.

Skills:

  • Qualified or Qualified by relevant experience
  • Commercial experience
  • SQL
  • Healthcare ideal
