About the opportunity:

We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join their team as a IT Field Engineer, working with a diverse range of clients across various industries.
As the IT Field Engineer, You will be responsible for providing an exceptional service to our key clients but to also act as an escalation point for the internal team, providing high-level technical expertise on complex issues to a 3rd line level
This is a hands-on technical role which will see you providing onsite support and working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building trusted relationships and providing credible recommendations to meet their IT needs.
You will be tasked with the onboarding of new clients, reviewing IT infrastructures, and producing bespoke project and technical plans. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of projects, implementing new technology solutions, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the IT infrastructures, systems integration, and cloud technologies. Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role delivering onsite support.
- A strong background in IT support and experience of working within a managed service provider enviroment.
- Highly client-focused with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience of managing and delivering complex IT projects and upgrades.
- Strong communication to successfully collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly proactive and self-motivated with a commercial understanding.
- Up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Live within a commutable distance to Pitstone with the willingness to travel to client sites.
Knowledge and technical experience of the following to a 3rd line level including installation, configuration, and migrations:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID.
- Microsoft Azure including migrations.
- Awareness of modern device management through Microsoft technologies, ideally encompassing WVD, Intune and Autopilot.
- Experience with older on-premises server hardware and software including Exchange, Firewalls, antivirus, backup expertise and intermediate networking skills.

- A competitive salary of £50,000-£55,000 dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience.

- Holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day for each year of service up to a maximum of 28 days.
