Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - Permanent

Location: Burton-on-Trent

Job Type: Full-Time. School is taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent)!

Salary: £20,516.00 per annum.

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Role Overview:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant working with young people diagnosed with Autism (and who may have additional needs), you will be helping to make sure they get the very best from their education!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working across the school with a wide range of children and young people with differing complex needs, indoors and outdoors defendant on need.
  • Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervising pupils as they explore further afield.

Requirements:

  • Grade C or above GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Experience of supporting young people with SEND.
