Dynamic and growing organisation based in North Hertfordshire (SG9) are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to cover a period of Maternity Leave for at least six months.
Ideally starting in October you will be a Senior Management Accountant and responsible for the production and publication of timely and accurate management information in all areas of finance. In particular, the month-end process to ensure accounts are processed and analysed with accuracy and a good attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Complete month end process for assigned companies this includes production of management accounts with analysis on variance to budget and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Management of direct reports (Management Accountants) oversee and review month end process for their assigned companies
- Business partner with operation teams and site teams provide analysis support and focusing on cost control.
- Production of month end reports packs for all companies assigned
- Completion of VAT returns for assigned companies
- Group intercompany matrix reconciliation
- Undertake year end work in line with the Group Financial Controller's timetable
- Assist with audit process by providing the information required for assigned companies.
Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant with solid management accounting experience. You should also have experience of using an ERP system.
