Maintenance Operations Store - Chesterfield (Onsite) - 3 Months + Extension.
Our client, a leading communications service provider, is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join their team in Chesterfield. This role is critical in ensuring that the Maintenance Operations Stores and Workshop team deliver a world-class service to our customers through effective parts and warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and organization of the Maintenance Operations Stores.
- Support the Workshop Team Leader and Operations Manager in daily tasks and long-term projects.
- Oversee the control and distribution of Unity and client stock requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including stock counts and records.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill parts and equipment needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and quality checks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a maintenance or warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
