About the Role
As a crucial member of our team, you'll carry out interventions, with minimal supervision, to determine if traders will sell age-restricted products to persons below the permitted age. These products include tobacco, vapes, nitrous oxide and alcohol.

Your role will also involve recruiting and managing young people (under 18) as test purchasers. Together with partner organisations, you'll orchestrate test purchase interventions and collect evidence in compliance with legal standards. Should non-compliance surface, you'll be responsible for producing meticulous reports that enable us to consider appropriate actions, including prosecution.

In this role you'll collaborate closely with colleagues from Surrey Public Health, the police and other relevant organisations. Together, you'll devise effective interventions and share valuable insights and intelligence with our partners.

As part of your responsibilities you'll also engage in promoting awareness events and activities related to products like tobacco and vapes. Your efforts will help us keep our communities well-informed.
