Our client is on the lookout for a project development associate to work on the identification and sourcing of new sites and land for renewable energy development. You would be responsible for engaging with landowners, commercial negotiations relating to land acquisition, and maintaining landowner relationships throughout the project lifecycle. You would have access to a strong team support network throughout the development process.
With a 100% planning application success record across twenty 20-50MW projects, a flexible working culture, plans to add multiple NSIPs to their portfolio, and a "founder-owned" structure - this company offers a highly stable setup in the sector.
You would be a strong fit for this role if you:
> Have a background in site assessments, GIS, and commercial negotiations for land.
> An understanding in the UK renewables market and the constraints on projects that must be
considered.
> Are comfortable and confident in a rural setting and are open to engaging with landowners
and performing business development outreach.
> Have a genuine passion for the net-zero transition and working within the renewable
energy market.
This role would be a good fit for someone early in their career who is looking to start their pathway in the clean energy space. Suitable backgrounds for this role would be rural surveying, rural real estate, estates/farm management, or renewable energy land management.
