We are seeking a
Purchase Ledger Clerk
to work with our client on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.
*This location can not be reach using public transport, therefore you will need to have your own vehicle*
This is a full-time permanent position.
Salary
: £25,000 DOE.
Hours
: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm.
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation
- Managing the accounts department email box
- Checking nominal codes and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Checking and monitoring purchase ledger
- Accurately enter supplier invoices into the accounting system.
- Ensure invoices are matched to purchase orders and delivery notes where applicable.
- Handle discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Prepare payment runs, ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details.
- Maintain accurate and organised records of all transactions.
- Due to our clients location, you will need to have access to your own vehicle.

- Level 2 AAT or keen to pursue a career within this sector

- Excellent use of Excel
- Good communication
