We are looking for a versatile and highly skilled Customer Service and Warehousing assistant join our clients team. This unique role combines responsibilities from customer service, warehousing, and some engineering responsibilities, requiring a candidate who is adept at managing customer interactions, overseeing warehouse operations, and providing 1st line engineering solutions and simple fixes.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally.
- Provide detailed information about products and services, resolve customer complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update customer records and account information.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues and improve service quality.
Warehousing:
- Oversee receiving, unloading, counting, and stocking of physical inventory in the warehouse.
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately, and prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, and packing boxes.
- Maintain inventory control and ensure proper stock levels.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Engineering:
- Provide technical support and first line fixes.
- Responsible for repairs and testing of products.
- Provide RMA to customers and maintaining RMA record sheet.(Returns Merchandise Authorisation)
- Monthly report documenting returns, repairs, warranty replacements for possible credit.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in customer service, warehousing.
- Proficiency with software.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift or move heavy products and operate warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and CRM software.
