Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking Secondary Teachers for a number of full time, long term cover positions across Hampshire.
We at Reed Education Southampton currently run the Hampshire Supply Service through our branch, where we support over 500 schools with day to day cover, long term absence cover, and permanent recruitment needs. We have a number of Teaching posts available within areas including Winchester, Southampton, Fleet, Eastleigh and Portsmouth.
As the long term Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for the teaching and learning of all individuals within your assigned class, ensuring to maintain standards of teaching in all that you do, and provide an adaptable yet enthusiastic teaching manner. You will provide a passion for your role, giving pupils the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of all aspects. You will provide support and development opportunities and work with the school staff to ensure that attainment is one of many priorities of the role.
For this role, you will need/will be:
- Qualified Teacher Status with relevant degree
- Good knowledge of the KS3/4 curriculum
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt content delivery to allow for all pupils of all walks of life to learn to the best of their abilities
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
The salary for this role is currently set between £130-200 per day, depending on experience.
