Our client in North London are looking to hire an Experienced Packer to assist in preparing orders for shipping.
You will check products for quality, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected.
To ensure success in this position, you will need to perform to a high level of attention to detail.
The job is Monday to Friday - 7:30am start. Finish time will be between 3:30pm and 4:30pm. This is a temporary role, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person, subject to attendance, time-keeping and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Quality control - ensuring orders are correct, clean, and up to quality standards.
- Packing orders with care.
- Updating computer system with completed orders.
- Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organised.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role is neccesary.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A level of computer literacy will be neccesary.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Proficient organisational skills.
- A close attention to detail and care in packing is neccesary.
