This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Facilities Maintenance, seeking a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career and gain managerial experience whilst also furthering your technical capabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing facilities maintenance works across the hotel, which will include an initial training period before supervising a small team of facilities technicians and sub-contractors. This will still be a hands-on role, and there will be opportunities to develop your skillset and gain qualifications across the core trades.

This role would suit someone with a hands on facilities maintenance background looking to progress and advance in their career, with a highly stable business that will reward the hard work and dedication of its employees.

The Role:

  • Overseeing property maintenance, repair work, and compliance across a hotel building
  • Will still be a hands-on role, with a mixture of managerial and hands-on facilities maintenance work
  • Standard working week, Monday to Friday with flexible hours. There may be a requirement for occasional weekend work

The Candidate:

  • Will have experience with facilities maintenance work
  • Some competence in a trade would be beneficial (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting & decorating) although full training and qualifications can be provided
  • Will be actively seeking opportunities for a long-term career and ongoing development
