Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working exclusively with an ever-growing manufacturing business based in Bradford as they look to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis!

This is a newly created role where the successful applicant will be required to work closely within a small finance team, alongside another Assistant Accountant and the Finance Director, to provide support across all aspects of management accounting, costings, month end close and transactional finance tasks.
This is the perfect opportunity for any ACCA / CIMA part qualified finance professional, who would like to gain further exposure into management accounts whilst continuing their studies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing the monthly management accounts
- Product costings
- Accruals and prepayments
- Preparing and posting journals
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Producing a variety of month end/financial reports
- Preparing and processing payments
- Bank reconciliation
- VAT
Key Candidate Requirements:
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Part-qualified accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
- Strong communication skills and be able to translate financial information to non-finance staff
- Ability to collaborate with other members of the team
- Hindu / Urdu language would be very beneficial
This is a permanent, office-based position, working 8am – 6pm with 1 & half hour break throughout the day. Salary is negotiable depending on experience, up to £33k per annum.
