Description

  • Review, draft and negotiation of commercial agreements, NDA's, services, supply and/or purchase agreements, licensing agreements and other contracts of low to moderate complexity in support of the business.
  • Prepare and review documents related to general corporate and litigation.
  • Review documents related to company secretarial matters and provide direction.
  • Draft correspondence and assure communication and timely responses to and from outside attorneys, company staff, and insurance carriers.
  • Research and analysis of law, preparation of briefs, and assist with strategy development.

Profile

  • Accredited degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
  • Experience working in either private practice or corporate or government environment.
  • Applicable license(s) and registration(s) in area of speciality or discipline.
  • Outstanding project management, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, with strong ability to prioritise.
