Machine Assistant – Finishing
Location – Exeter (outskirts)
Salary - £31,405 per annum
Hours - Reporting initially to the Shift lead, the individual will work a continuous 4 ½ shift rota of two 12-hour days followed by two 12-hour nights and then 4 days off within the Finishing department. Every 8 cycles of this rota there will be a 12 day off period. The rota does not come with any floating holidays as this is considered and built in within the rota.
Responsibilities –
- Assisting with all aspects of finishing, packaging and labelling
- Transporting of finished goods by use of Forklift
- Ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Maintaining quality of finished goods, meeting standards
The right candidate –
- The ability to retain knowledge is critical
- Must be able to demonstrate signs of initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Respect for the position
- Relevant is experience is preferred
- Must be flexible to work shifts which involves weekends
- Wants to make a career
- Forklift licence is needed
