The Opportunity
As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. This is more than just a financial role – you will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO and other senior stakeholders to influence strategy and guide decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Providing strategic financial insight to support business growth

- Leading and developing the finance team
- Managing relationships with banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders
- Supporting investment initiatives and growth strategies
- Leading the business through a time of change and dealing with all M&A and DD activity

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior financial leader, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic insight
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent
- A track record of driving financial performance and contributing to business growth
- Ideally experience of Private Equity / M&A activity
