Japanese Speaking Demand Planning Manager - What You'll be Doing:

  • Based on the sales forecast, promotional plans, market trends, and customers' sales and inventory data, build the demand forecast for their subsidiaries and customers
  • Monitor sales results vs. forecast for all shops/subsidiaries and adjust where necessary. Communicate closely with the sales team about any short-term supply issues and decide on stock allocation for constrained inventory.
  • Monthly update on Key Accounts' sell-in/out data analysis in the monthly review meeting. Responsible for the monthly performance review on yearly demand forecast and purchase plans for each subsidiaries
  • Optimize stock holding, manage aged and discontinued products by liaising with sales teams to reduce stock write-off.
  • Align with Sales and Marketing for pricing, promotions budget, and marketing activities to control P&L. Provide an analysis of budget vs. profit based on the sales forecast.
  • Analyse and share insights about market trends, competitors, and customers' sell-in/out data to support building the sales strategies.

Japanese Speaking Demand Planning Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Strong demand planning experience
  • Expertise in inventory control
  • Proficient in performance reporting and data analysis
  • Experience in budgetary management and P&L analysis
  • Fluent in Japanese- Business level is required.
