Hourly Rate: £14.92 based on 42 hours per week

Our client is a leading manufacturer of nonwoven materials and engineered papers used in filtration, energy, and industrial applications who specialise in producing high-quality products that meet the stringent requirements of our customers in various industries.
- Machine Operation:
- Operate production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to keep it in good working condition.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks on produced materials to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Identify and report any quality issues or deviations from standards to the production supervisor.
- Production Support:
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Follow company policies and regulations related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel immediately.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate production machinery and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
Additional Information:
- Work on a shift pattern: one week on 4 days from 7am to 7pm, followed by one week on 3 nights from 7pm to 7am.
Flexibility regarding the shift pattern, subject to notice periods and company needs.
