Your new role

This is a strategic appointment for the firm to head up its employment team. The firm has a broad range of employment clients that are mainly SME in nature. The work would be a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters as well as some corporate support. This employment solicitor role will see you play a key role in developing the department and taking it to the next stage.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be an employment lawyer at Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner level. You will be able to work across all levels within the business and will have an appetite to grow the department. There is already a good flow of work and so a full following is not needed. However, if you are able to bring work with you, this will influence the remuneration.
