Our client is seeking a highly organised and dedicated Personal Assistant to support the Head of Strategy, Analysis and Engagement. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to significant regulatory issues while ensuring organisational responsibilities are carried out efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of work, interacting with senior figures across the organisation and externally, and providing high-quality support to ensure priorities are effectively delivered.

What you'll do:

As a Personal Assistant, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the Head of Strategy, Analysis and Engagement can make the best use of their time. You will manage their diary, coordinate meetings, handle confidential information, and liaise with key stakeholders. Your excellent organisational skills will be crucial in overseeing the HoD's priorities and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will also play a key role in coordinating the HoD's senior leadership team, organising meetings, disseminating information between teams, and distributing papers and agendas.

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Head of Department (HoD) including complex diary and mailbox management
  • Oversee the management of the HoD's priorities ensuring smooth operation within time constraints
  • Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the HoD
  • Coordinate the production of Board, Executive Committee and other committee papers
  • Assist on projects and coordinate organisation-wide exercises as required
  • Participate actively in the wider PA and Business Support team to ensure a consistent approach across the organisation

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Personal Assistant role brings proven experience supporting Senior Management level along with exceptional prioritisation skills. Your ability to foster a highly motivated team will be essential in this role. You have significant experience dealing with confidential information and are proficient in using Microsoft Office tools. Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant supporting Senior Management level
  • Ability to foster a highly motivated and productive team
  • Experience handling highly confidential and staff sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Exceptional prioritisation skills with ability to manage heavy workload under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective relationships with stakeholders
