Job Title: SAP Solution Architect

Contract Details: Fixed term until December 20th (potentially to extend)
Location: Crewe Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, standard 7.5 hours per day
Role Overview:
As an SAP Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and architectural guidance on SAP-related projects, particularly focusing on migration projects from ES 4000 to SAP platforms. Your role will include the development of a reference architecture for the main ecosystem, ensuring alignment with IT governance and strategic objectives. You will work closely with the IT Department and other Solution Architects to deliver successful project outcomes that align with the organization's long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the reference architecture for SAP migration projects, ensuring integration and alignment with the overall IT ecosystem.
- SAP Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in SAP platforms, guiding the design, development, and deployment of solutions across various SAP environments.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to align SAP-related projects with business objectives, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that all technical aspects meet the required standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with cross-functional teams, including other architects, product managers, and executive leadership, to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with strategic business goals.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure that all architectural designs comply with IT governance policies, standards, and best practices, particularly within the context of SAP systems.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Related experience to SAP ES system and S4HANA migration. Confident with owning and building a reference architect for the Bentley SAP estate.
- Extensive experience with SAP platforms and related technologies.
- Proven track record in solution architecture, particularly in large-scale SAP migrations and integrations.
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and their application in architectural design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
The successful candidate should ideally have experience in similar roles within other large organizations, with a focus on SAP solution architecture.
