White Label Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a leading engineering manufacture that manufacturer that manufactures mechanically engineered products. They are now looking to take on a Internal Sales / Sales Support person on a 18month fixed term contract to cover maternity cover.
The Role
- Quotations and follow ups- standard quotes to be turned around within 24 hours, modified product quotes to be turned around within 72Hours and application/modified quotes to be turned around within 3 weeks (depending on complexity)
- Order Entry - all orders to be placed on the system the same day
- Sending Order Confirmations - to be sent to the customer within 24 hours of receiving an order
- Expediting orders for customers by liaising with relevant departments on a weekly basis
- Responsible for sending out weekly open order book reports to customers
- Maintain and improve good relations with external and internal customers
- Chase quotes to ensure customers have all the info they need and pull orders through.
- Daily data management
- Ad-hoc activities within the Internal Sales department
The Person
- Must have good background in Internal Sales / Sales Admin / Sales Support
- Any exposure in the engineering sector is highly desirable but not essential
- Ideally have worked for a manufacturer of any industry, but will also consider experience working for engineering distributors
The Package
- Up to £28k annual salary
- £500 quarterly bonuses
