Description

  • Managing a portfolio of trust clients, ensuring all tax compliance work is completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Providing tax planning advice and solutions to clients.
  • Liaising with clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Providing support to partners and senior staff on complex tax planning projects.
  • Ensuring all trust accounting is accurate and up to date.
  • Training and mentoring junior team members.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax law and regulations.
  • Actively contributing to the growth of the professional services department.

Profile

A successful Trust Manager should have:

  • A professional tax or accounting qualification. (ACA/CTA/STEP)
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of trust tax compliance and planning.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
  • A commitment to providing excellent client service.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
