Description
- Managing a portfolio of trust clients, ensuring all tax compliance work is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Providing tax planning advice and solutions to clients.
- Liaising with clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Providing support to partners and senior staff on complex tax planning projects.
- Ensuring all trust accounting is accurate and up to date.
- Training and mentoring junior team members.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax law and regulations.
- Actively contributing to the growth of the professional services department.
Profile
A successful Trust Manager should have:
- A professional tax or accounting qualification. (ACA/CTA/STEP)
- Proven experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
- Excellent knowledge of trust tax compliance and planning.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
- A commitment to providing excellent client service.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
