Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Hackney. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- To lead, monitor, optimise and continuously improve the delivery of software components
- Provide technical expertise needed to explore CMS platform options for the organisation's website
- Forms part of a wider website discovery project, exploring transformative improvements to enhance the user experience and maximise the website's value
- Establish, guide and grow the technical architecture and frontend communities of practice
- On a rota basis act as the lead officer ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of support to users
The candidate:
- Ideally educated to bachelor degree level and / or holds a relevant professional qualification
- Excellent Wordpress CMS knowledge
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience working in a similar role within the public sector is desirable
