Your new role
My client is an organisation which is looking for a Senior Payroll & HR Operations Officer for 3-6 months. Their office is based in Central Bristol, requiring attendance in the office 1 day a week. They also offer flexible working. Day rate for the role is £150-175 per day.
Main responsibility will be ensuring all the correct actions and checks are done before sending the information to the outsourced payroll organisation and overseeing a HR query team:
- Processing and running of the monthly payroll - collecting information, checking data
- Supporting the outcomes of Pay Award
- Liaising with the third party payroll processor
- Be the lead point of contact for the pension provider
- Supporting the Pay and Reward Lead
- You'll oversee an HR team - managing and supporting them in their workload which is handling first point of call HR queries.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Payroll related experience
- Experience of Matrix Management
- Highly IT literate with experience of MS Office and SAP
- Effective communicator
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of GDPR
- Some HR knowledge and experience
