Academics are working closely with a dynamic and supportive primary school based in Waltham Forest, London that are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Learning Mentor to join their team in September 2024 on a long term basis, with the view of a permanent contract for September 2025.

This lovely primary school offers fantastic CPD, progression and ongoing support to ensure that you are well equipped to thrive and hit the ground running in your new role.

The Head Teacher at this school based in Waltham Forest, London has an open door policy and has worked hard in ensuring that the students and staff at this school feel valued.

Ensuring that the pupils at this lovely primary school leave school every day knowing that they have learnt something valuable academically and personally is their aim and they have fantastic resources in place, so that the students feel supported.

The role of a Learning Mentor is to hold 1:1 and group interventions as well as classroom support to ensure that students are on track and in line with the UK National Curriculum.

You will have the passion and dedication to support students with SEN needs including Dyslexia and Dyspraxia, as each child has the right to excellent education.

Together with the class teachers, you will support learning practices in line with the UK National Curriculum.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is forward thinking and child focused.

The ideal candidate must have UK school experience or relevant child related qualifications and a general interest in supporting students both academically and personally.
